Trans fluid level?????
I added a very small amount of fluid to my trans, maybe 1/8 quart. I let it run and warm up for a good 1/2 hour and then checked it and it was on the low side of the hot mark on the dipstick. I guess my fluid level was fine to begin with, and maybe I should have driven it to get the trans good and warmed up, because now my fluid level is 1/4 inch higher than the high hot mark on the dipstick, and it says "do not overfill". Is this going to cause a problem? Should I take some out? I really don't want to mess with the trans due to the mileage, and have heard horror stories when you do.
I am going to be selling the truck and was just going through everything to make sure it was up to snuff. I just don't want to cause any problems for someone that might buy it. What should I do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Trans fluid level?????
It will be fine, You can run them a little over the Hot mark when the trans is fully warm.
