Would it work?
After taking my grill off this week I noticed that the metal under the trim around the lights was painted. I was curious to see if anything would hurt if I changed out the trim from my 79 to a older model that didn't have the trim there. I'm thinking no problem. Am I right?

Basically I want this look rather than the trim around the whole front lights. Then change out the grill for a billet grille. I'll have to change out the hood latch but no biggie.

just change out the headlight covers/panels, remove the lower valence/turn signal panel, paint it, put on the new lower trim piece and that should do it!
good luck! |
