V-belts hindering sucess
So Ive installed everything required to add power steering to my 250 I6.
My pulleys ALL line up perfectly, I thank the good lord for that! So the problemo is that, the V-belt that goes one the PS pump is touching the spindle on the Alternator as such in Pic #1 and the above shot in pic #2 I know this is an issue, not sure if its a safety issue per-say but im 99.99% sure it will cause premature failure of the belt left as is. the belts are 50013 for the PS pump and 39315 for the alternator, and ive tried using shorter/ longer lengths for both belts but still come up with the same problem as in the picture just different sides of the spindle. if I were to use spacers it would throw off the pulley alignments... sooo what would you think be the answer?

Re: V-belts hindering sucess
It looks like a longer alt belt and shorter PS might get enough clearance.I know on mine there isn't much room between the two,but it does miss.I don't have the belt numbers but they might not help anyway,as there are at least a couple of offset/pulley configurations.

Re: V-belts hindering sucess
quick update, I solved the problem buy changing from a single groove pulley to a double groove pulley on the alternator so the power steering belt just sits in the second groove .. and BOOM perfect!
