update fuse box
ON my 73 i have the wonderful glass fuses. Im stripping my 89 blazer and though about installing the blazer fuse box into my 73. The blazer is TBI so i know there is wiring i wont need. My question is, would it be easier to swap the fuse box/harness out of the blazer, or just but a new fusebox/harness and wire it all up from scratch?

Re: update fuse box
Take the entire blade style harness as one unit, uncut and labled with tons and tons of pictures, install into new car. Just cutting and splicing is possible but too confusing, chevy changed collors often, orange wire on a 73 is dome light but commonly white is on 80s trucks.
If u ask me, just leave it. Unless u have problems... ORRRR If ur gonna do all that work, get a cameros harness and prepair it for tpi! Thats what id do.... Jeeps work well also Posted via Mobile Device |
