Grease or oil Pilot bushing
Im about ready to put my bronze pilot bushing on my 307 just wondering if i soak it in oil or grease it. I have been told both.

I have always used high temp synthetic wheel bearing grease

Heres the best way, take your finger plug one end of the bushing then pour some ATF in it and take your other finger and push on the open hole, keep doing this till the trans fluid comes out , this helps with the bushing plus the output shaft of the trans. sounds crazy but works was showed this by and old mechanic when i was sixteen now i'm the old mechanic
