Power Steering hose
I tried a search on this, but didn't come up with what I needed. My power steering line doesn't fit. I'm running a truck accessory system with the saginaw pump. I changed the main pressure line fitting from the metric O-ring style to a 5/8"-18 inverted flare so my line would attach. The problem now, is the way the line is bent, it interferes with the block. I need to know if there is a specific year model hose that will fit. I really don't want to have to run AN lines and fittings. That crap gets expensive.

Re: Power Steering hose
The fitting is taken care of. I took one out of an older pump with the correct threads and flares. The problem is the bent part of the hose itself interferes with the block. I don't mind buying a new hose, I just need to know if there's a particular hose that will fit.
I may get some pics a little bit later to show what the issue is. That is a pretty nifty little adapter fitting, though.

Re: Power Steering hose
you could have just 'massaged' the line into shape with your hands. If it's metal...it will bend.

Re: Power Steering hose
I ended up doing this with a tubing bender, some wrenches, and a bench vise. It's not very pretty, so I may put something over the line to hide it.
