Help me clean my engine bay( pics)

Hey guys, im in some need of help on cleaning up,and beautifying my engine bay.

Here are a few pics of my engine bay.

Any ideas, tips, suggestions etc ALL are welcome.

Would my best bet to be to strip it all down of wires etc and paint the whole bay one weekend?

I guess it's all in what you want. If you want to put it back somewhat stock or just the bare necessities. I noticed the fan shroud is gone, A/C compr and lines, heater core disconnected, and a few things need like that to go back if you go more stock looking, I would run a shroud. Beyond that it's just disassemble clean and paint. I did mine a few years ago, I didn't do the firewall, just replaced the inner fenders and cleaned and painted the motor and brackets and added a couple of things. Here's pics of mine. Good luck.

be sure to take lots of pics,of anything you do work on,plug ins etc
I have lots of mine and it ez to refer too,when you can't actually go look at it

Instead of trying to cram it all in within a weekend, take more time to detail and the results will be well worth it.

I do a few pieces every evening instead of plopping my lazy behind in my recliner. Like tonite, I powder coated my headlamp buckets, rings, hood hinges, and springs.

I recommend Simple Green for the initial scrubbing away of dirt/grease before sand blasting or stripping parts.

definitely take pics along the way.
