Mounting an Entropy Radiator

Anyone have pics of how you mounted your Entropy radiator? My truck had a inline 6 so the factory mounts aren't working. I would appreciate any help!

Re: Mounting an Entropy Radiator

Mine might be a little different since I believe yours is a '68, but for me I cut the end off the mount, but down some of the mount so I could screw into the aluminum of the radiator, and had to use 454 rubber mounts that I got off ebay, and still had to trim the mounts for it to fit right, but after all that it finally held.

Re: Mounting an Entropy Radiator

I'd like to use factory mounts if possible. Can the stock 6 cylinder mounts be moved to accommodate the larger radiator?

Re: Mounting an Entropy Radiator

Is this on your 68 I assume? Looks like the others are later c10's w/ different rad supports all together...

what thickness is the radiator?...I believe from others you can simply use 4 core mounts...just make sure to get uppers and lowers...they are what came on the big block trucks and trucks with tow pkg/camper specials...

You can find sets from vendors, on the board, or I have a complete set for 55 shipped...

Re: Mounting an Entropy Radiator

I believe entropy has the 3/4 core mounts available. Did those not fit for you correctly?

Re: Mounting an Entropy Radiator

I bought my radiator from board member Hart_Rod. Unused, but in an open box and I don't remember seeing any mounts in the box. Gonna have to look again. I checked the Entropy website and it appears they are included. More to follow...

At the time I got the radiator, no mounts were included.

Yeah Rob, they aren't included. I bought some 4 core mounts from VA72C10, just waiting for them to arrive.

Re: Mounting an Entropy Radiator

Got a better look at it and it appears I just need the larger mounts. (There weren't any mounts included with the radiator.) The new radiator is about 3.250" at the mounting location (the tanks). I also need to move the passenger side mount to the outer mounting location.

Re: Mounting an Entropy Radiator

I am looking at purchasing one of these radiators also. I believe they will fit the four core rad mount, but they can also make the radiator fit the three core mounts but for extra money check out their web site
