Vaccum lines... help a guy out! :-)

okay, here's the deal. i have a SBC 350 w/ an automatic TH350. i have two carb vaccum lines, one of which goes to the distributor. originally, the vaccum out of my holley intake went to my tranny, however, i need vaccum for my pwr brake booster, so i ran the line to the intake, and then switched the tranny line to the carb. will this setup work??

the trans needs full manifold vacuum at all times....
the power brake booster needs the same thing.....
the carb.vacuum ports are designed for switches and dist...
the ported vacuum outlet on the carb(vacuum increases w/rpm)
is where the dist. goes

may want to buy orlook for a different vacuum fitting to go on the intake w/3/8" for booster..might be 5/16". and the 3/16 for the trans.

You don't need to split the line on the manifold. Which carb are you running? Edelbrocks, Holley's and Quadrajets all have a manifold vacuum port. Let me know which it is and I'll dig up a picture and put an arrow on it. Splittling the vacuum on the manifold will of course work too...

Ports for all those should be in the base of the carb. But, splitting will work as has been said.
