Play in door hinges.

I reinstalled one of my doors back on the cab that I am rebuilding. How much play should I have before I need to rebuild the hinges? The hinges feel tight off of the truck. But I can pry up the door at the B pillar about a 1/4" is this normal?

I replaced all the pins and bushings in mine , it is not too bad of a job....

It`s much easier to do this wth the doors on and the fenders off.

Where did you purchase the pins and bushings?

http://www.classicparts.com/1960-91-...ctinfo/18-406/ I had the hinges off when I did it ,sometimes you have to persuade the pins to move...........

you can more than likely get them at your local auto parts store. they are of a std size bushings and pins. I can get them at my local jobbers
