6 to 5 lug conversion
i have a 1965 c 10 i converted the front 6 lug drum brakes to 6 lug disc brakes. so it has 6 lug discs in front and 6 lug drums in back. i need to make it five lug all around to use the rims i want. Does anyone know where i can but just the 5 lug discs or where to get 6 to 5 lug adapters cheap?

Re: 6 to 5 lug conversion
Most all of the disc brake kits use a '73+ style spindle/bearing setup so you can go to any parts store and get the '73+ stock 5 lug rotors. Later models (IIRC '81-'87 had a choice of LD or HD versions) get the HD 1.25" thick ones.
The rear you can get conversion axles and use '73+ 5 lug drums. You cannot use the 5 lug axle shafts from a later year rear end as they are longer than your '65.
