power for fuseblock
Does the main power from the battery to to the distribution block on the top of the firewall on 73-87? Trying to figure out how to get power to the fuseblock, then over to the LS harness.

Re: power for fuseblock
All of the LS harnesses I have have a +/red power line directly to the battery from it's distribution block. I then run the truck's power feed from the fuse block to this distribution block. Or, you could run a line from the battery to any distribution block and then run power off of that.
It seems to work for me but maybe there's a better way. I run my fan, headlight relays, horn relays, washer relay, fog light relays, secondary fuse box and the truck's main fuse box from the LS (6.0L) harness distribution block. If this is wrong hopefully someone will speak up. Do you have a custom harness without a distribution block?

Re: power for fuseblock
it has a distribution block, just wasn't sure it I should tie it to the fuse able link on the firewall or the 0ga wire I ran from the battery. I will go straight to the battery.
