New From Phx, AZ 69' SWB
Hey guys been lurking on your forum for awhile but finally signed up when I bought my 1st C/10 this week.
1969 CST/10, SWB, original 350ci, 4 Speed, AZ truck, 12 bolt, 6 lug, under the dash AC factory add on, new paint, never been in accident, and best of all 97yr old original owner says he's never rolled the odometer at 44k miles. I actually believe him due to the fact it has 40yr old grease underneath and not a scratch on one of the straightest frames I've seen. I was looking for something to customize with an LS-1 and modern running gear but this truck is just too clean and original to mess with. Don't you guys agree I should just get it back to as new shape and call it a day? Save the project for a rolling chassy? I still want to lower it, rims and make it loud but no chopping if you will. |

Welcome to the board! How did you get a hold of that guy? I must have called that number on that craigslist ad two dozen times and it would never go through!

Pure luck! He posted it twice and had it sold but the original guy didn't come through...So, I called and got lucky like a radio station call-in! He liked what I had to say about my plans for the truck and that I wasn't going to chop it up. So I hustled over from Chandler to it on Sunday looked at it for 10 min and gave him a deposit without even driving it. He had at least ten calls while I was looking at it. He even had me write his dad a note on what I was going to do with it! Feel for ya cause I seem to always miss the good deals on craigslist.

Hey Boss, that truck is beautiful! No choppy choppy on that one. 4/6 static drop and some wax.

Man that's a great looking truck. I'd probably just clean that one up. It looks like a pretty nicer survivor.
The trim looks really straight too, man is that nice. |
