C/L find
A 1966 4x4 burb. I texted the guy and his reply was that he couldn't get a title. So he's gonna part it out.
I'd hate to see that happen. These 4x4s, especially the Burbs are getting harder to find. I'm gonna talk to DMV in the morning and see if I can get it with just a bill of sale and then do the paperwork to get a title.

Re: C/L find
here in IL you apply for a bonded title basically. you buy a bond and if someone claims your ride. they bond pays you back your money. couldn't tell you how many people wanted us to part out our 66 that was on CL.

Re: C/L find
some states like here in Georgia, a bill of sale is all you need, IIRC. I'd sure check it out with DMV

Re: C/L find
The states vary alot. I hear tale that in Oregon if a vehicle has sat for a certain number of years it can be claimed and titled. I think it's intended for abandoned vehicles, and I dont know if it's fact.
