Billet Wheel Backspacing

15”x8” billet wheel with 6.25” of backspacing. How will this look on the back? Sucked too far in, pushed too far out, or just about right?

Bonus points for answering the same question regarding a 15”x7” w/ 4.5” of bs on the front.

Sucked too far in. Your fender over hang will look huge. With a 10" wide wheel on the back the perfect backspace is 5". If your using an 8" wheel most have a 4" backspace. I wouldnt use 6.25" because it makes the wheel move in closer to the frame. Which would give you 3.75" of over hang fender from the front of the wheel. 15x7 on the front, I wouldnt use more than 4" backspace. More than that you will have rubbing issues with the control arm. Heres my 2 trucks. Same wheels on both with different tires. 15x7 with 4" bs and 15x10 with 5" bs. they tuck in rear and dont rub in the front.

Not worth the effort. An 8" wheel spaced out to accommodate too much BS will not be visually appealing IMHO vs the same size wheel w/the correct (optimum) BS for that particular vehicle.
