1964 Chevy Tail Light Question
Ive been looking for tailights for my 64 longbed and Ive found the LED are about 100 Bucks for a set has anyone bought a set of the oblong LED trailer lights and used them upright in the slot thanks!

you can also buy the 1157 bulbs that are led. have not used them myself but have seen them and are pretty cheap. you also need a special flasher to go with them so they work right

they make a led conversion that goes in behind the factory lens and use the original bucket as well

I'm out of fleetside tail lights right now but I sell very nice LED lights that replace the tail light bulb and lens, they are one unit with about 30 leds. They run $65.00 a pair

I got the plug in led bulbs and they work grate and look stock and they are much less expensive. I bought a set of the full lens type from Classic Industries for my step side and they did not fit the housing that I had bought from them about 5 years before. If you go with the bulb type make sure you get read ones I here that they are brighter with the red lens than the white bulbs are.
