I'm doing a 6.0 lq4 with the Doug Thorley Swap headers in my 85. What are you guys using for plug wire? Thanks!

Re: Which plug wires???
I'd had this saved in my LSx conversion document:
MSD 32819 Red MSD 32813 Black. Can't go wrong with Taylors either...

Re: Which plug wires???
Thanks! I have heard you can just bend the boots to get off the headers, is that true?

Re: Which plug wires???
Stock wires work fine for most applications. I have pacesetter headers on my LS1 Z28 and had to use some exhaust blanket to protect one plug boot, all others are good. I would also recommend using the spark plug boot heat shields.

Re: Which plug wires???
I got the msd in black when they first came out. They are pretty short, I had trouble getting both ends on at the same time. I hope they have fixed this by now. No problems otherwise 3 years of DD later.
