Re: Suburban Interiors/Headliners?
Good question.
My sub has (had) panel in between roof bows. Curious too. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Suburban Interiors/Headliners?
Since my 66 suburban only has 53k original miles, its still sporting the factory headliner{a first for me}
So here's a pic. Not sure this really helps tho. I would love to add fatmat under it but hate to risk destroying it while removing. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Suburban Interiors/Headliners?
Hel...heck yeah...lol
But, jus saying I've never had anything that wasn't screwed up by a long line of previous owners... I'm 3rd owner, but original owner bought new in Nov. 1965 and owned until 2011. Pretty crazy. And I have original window sticker, all service records and a notebook with every oil change, fluid changes, batterys, fan belts, any repair work etc since 65 until he stopped driving it in 2004. Then it sat in garage til 2011. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Suburban Interiors/Headliners?
Hmmm I would have thought that the headliner would have covered those ribs. So as for the sides, just bare metal all around? No panels?

Re: Suburban Interiors/Headliners?
its hard to see in this pic
But, in between each bow was a kind of fuzzy backed 'cardboard' for lack of a better word. In mine there was no "cloth". Its almost like construction paper backed with a thin (1/8th inch) foam that was held up with a glue (spray contact cement I suspect). |

Re: Suburban Interiors/Headliners?
No fabric or hardboard panels on the sides.
