Thanks for the Kudos! I plan on doing a 4/6 drop using the link that you gave me for the parts. Painting it the almond brown color that you see from the pic there. I would like to keep the same heigth wheels on it but want to go a lil wider maybe like tens in the back and 8's in the front. I ripped out the dash bezzel and dash pad this last weekend and will take some pics of it soon and plan on replacing it all. Plan on keeping the orginal 305 in it but just dressing it up with some pretties. Maybe buy a crate 350 4 bolt down the road when i buy me another dd. I havent thought more than that. lol ohhh yeah and cowl hood maybe 4", and phantom grill but been aprehensive about that bc I also like that original one thats on it now. Next project is to reset the body lines. I bought the bushing kit this last friday so im waiting for them to come in. just yesterday i replaced the vavle cover gasket, thats what the pic is of the broken pieces are above so it was long over due. Got any suggestions im alllllllll ears?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!

235/70's on 8's and 275/60's on 10's should keep about the same tire height.

Ditch the running boards first and foremost(unless you or the little lady really need them). That will provide you an immediate change in the overall "attitude" of the truck.

Lol I will bro, I havent done much to it yet I just changed the valve cover gasket on the ps this last Monday and am going to do the other side this next week. I also removed the dash pad and bezzel but havent done anything else to it yet. Im going to buy a replacement dash in another few weeks. Ill take pics of the inside of the truck tomorrow and post them. I am currently without carpet bc I have some rust resto to do to the truck.

Re: My 82 gmc project starts!!!

i took my dash pad, bezel, gauges off today, making sure my gas gauge ground was grounded
since my gas gauge is pegged at the 3 o clock position
i am also without carpet i want to get a rubber floor
i have some light surface rust on the drivers side and little pitting on the passenger side
