Not shifting well and lots of slipping

Turbo 350 in my C10 has acting up, dropped the pan and pretty sure I found the problem. Looks like it's time for a 700r4 upgrade.

Another TH350 Grinds itself to death

When a transmission starts to make metal....Something is wrong!! Rebuilding it before it quits will save you money.

Re: Not shifting well and lots of slipping

Anybody know if a th350 had a lockup torque converter.

The trans I pulled had 2 plugs on it, on the left side is a 4 prong like whats on the 700
And on the right side it has a 2 prong plug, reverse lights maybe?

700r4 is in shifts through all 4 gears, need to adjust the detent and check it over.

That's what a TH350C is,....Has a lock-up torque converter.

The 2 prong switch is for 3rd gear oil, The 4 pin plug is for the torque converter clutch solenoid.

DO NOT drive a 700R4 untill the TV cable is set correctly.

Re: Not shifting well and lots of slipping

Sad thing is, the 4L60e in my '97 C1500 did the same thing, pan looked similar. I changed the filter, fluid, and put in some Lucas Stop-Slip, still driving it now lol. Dang, I need a new transmission... At least it isn't slipping and is holding for now. I'm not too hard on it anymore.
