Re: gas tank
If you are asking about underneath where the spare goes there are probably a dozen options. Blazer, Mustang, aftermarket are the ones that come to mind. Then you need to decide if you was side, back or top fill. Old engine with just one line, or modern with pump in the tank and all that goes with that?? An advanced search will turn up a bunch of threads and you can look in the build threads, just about everyone is moving it to the back.
If you are asking about in the bed itself then there are lots of commercial applications, make sure they are rated as gas tanks, not transfer tanks. Some use fuel cell but they are usually not listed for street use which could be problematic if you have a fuel related insurance claim.

Re: gas tank
this one is out of a 59 chevy passenger car. bought new on-line.
only had to shorten the neck. and the fuel sending unit works with the stock truck gauge. used a Nova flip license plate assembly. fits between the rails nicely, holds about 13 gallons justplainray |

Clever, Ray.
You can fill from either side, too. |

Re: gas tank
like how clean your mounting looks like. what did you have to to to the rear crossmember? did you modify it or make a new one? i am looking at a 70 mustang tank because it is 22 gallon and found a brand new with sender for $150
