Door panel upper retainer??.?.
Bought a new set of door panels for interior trim on the 67 ans they attach at the bottom with screws but I can't figure out how they stay attached at the top. The panel is the one that has the armrest attached. All new pieces with no way to keep it on. Please help and any pics would be great.

Re: Door panel upper retainer??.?.
The top of the factory door panel tucks into a J-channel(painted or chromed) which is screwed to the door. Then the arm rest screws and the screws at the bottom hold the rest to the door panel on.

Re: Door panel upper retainer??.?.
Chrome upper trim holds the door panel in. I went and bought the door panels and put the plastic christmas tree's in it then covered it with leather.
