Wheel/Hub Issues

Has anyone had issues with mounting a modern aluminum wheel on the rear?

I attempted to put new wheels on my truck last night only to learn that the center bore on the wheels is too small. I feel like the hub is abnormally large, nearly 3 3/4"...

Thanks for the help.

I'm 99% sure that when we re-drill our 6-lug axles for 5-lugs, so that '71 drums will fit, the hub has to be turned down for the later drum to go on all the way. This indicates that, yes, we would have those issues.
