Went to the Wrecking Yard Today

I hadn't been there in a while and since it wasn't raining I figured I would go to see what was there. Found some parts for my 67 Suburban and then I stumbled across this:

And thought it would be really cool to put it on my 60 GMC or my 63 Chevy....the only thing really wrong with it is that it's a Ford Spotlight

I like the "Hurst" shift handle.....had the same one on my old '56 Delray (40 years ago! (sighs). I have no idea if they can still be bought, but if not, it might be worth a couple of bucks!

Well, you said it wasn't raining so I know the 3 hour window when you went to the junkyard !
I'm going to pick up a spotlight for my truck next spring at the swap in Monroe I saw several there for $25-$50.
Looks like my truck will be out of commission for a couple weeks. The new wiring can't wait
