Re: How about some pictures of hotroded sixes

Here's my 235 in the 55 wagon. Not a great shot, but it just had bolt on's and decent power. Body color valve cover, mini HEI and O.E. look HEI coil, split exhaust headers, heated manifold conversion, webber 2bbl conversion ( that I kept and have for sale) from Tom @ stoveboltengines.com .

No pic's yet of the Burb 250 but it's had a complete overhaul with some crank shaping, bigger cam, stainless seats, 202/194 valves, Z28 dual springs, ported, milled head, flat pistons, dual cast headers, clifford 6=8 heated manifold with a 390 Holley and HEI. Dyno shows 225 hp. Running 2 into 1 at 2.5 inch into a 3 chamber magnaflow and single out 2.5 Should be a fun runner. Here's a video of a similar recipe and same exhaust.

Heres a good thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...t=cylinder+250

Its just a pump that you would use on a race car, a lot of companies make them, we did have to make a bracket for it.

Re: How about some pictures of hotroded sixes

Is it ok to post them here? They aren't 47-59 trucks. You guys have a sweet 6cyl thread going and I don't want to clash it.

18tahoe, where did you get the double belt pulleys? Your engine looks great.

Trekster we had the crank drilled and taped so we could use the pulleys, just after market set.

Re: How about some pictures of hotroded sixes

Not sure if mine is a "hot rodded" six. But it will be warmed over. Just finished installing this today. Still have to put the oil filter cannister back on and the carb. But this provides a better view.
