Guys

Im looking at buying an old C10 and putting a 5.3 into it. I see this really nice shiny boyd efi tank and wonder... would a plastic tank from a newer silverado fit under the frame??

If im going to pull a motor and trans from a donor vehicle, can i pull the tank too and get it to fit?

Wont fit, the new frames are alot wider than the older trucks.

yep, the newer tank would hit numerous things inside the frame of a C10. stock tanks work fine and I've seen guys finish the entire fuel system for under $200! It's just lines, fittings, pump, regulator...

i had efi in my camaro and with the stock tank, the pump acted funny with anything less than a 1/4 tank in there. i would at least like to have some baffling or a fuel module. i think i saw that mod to a blazer tank

I believe the 87-91 blazer tanks have the baffles since they're fuel injected.
