DBW Pedal different than engine/harness/computer
I have a DBW pedal and TAC module from a 2004 Tahoe 5.3/4L60e. But my engine and cpu are from a 2005 2500HD Silverado 6.0/4L80e. Will I be able to use the pedal and TAC module, or do I have to get one from the same specific truck that I have?
Thanks, Brandon

Same goes for me. Mine are from different years. If you have any questions about the compatability, Speartech, http://www.speartech.com/ helped me out. They were good about answering questions. Good Luck.

Re: DBW Pedal different than engine/harness/computer
It seems there are 2 different types of setups. One with a somewhat normal looking foot pedal and the other with the alien looking solid plastic thing. They will not directly swap, at least without doing some repinning. As far as what applications got what, I haven't determined the pattern (I'm sure somebody has). But I do know that my Dad's 2005 5.3 work truck has the "normal" dbw pedal but my 2006 2500 6.0 pedal has what I call the "alien" looking pedal. In other words they wouldn't directly swap. It is possible that if you swap pedal AND keep its matching tac module that you will be fine, I'm not sure about that.
