4speed auto shift indicator for stock auto column

I found this little jewel at Shiftworks.com, it's actually for a 64 Impala but I got one anyway to see if it would fit in my stock auto column indicator housing.

Well it does, it will need just a little sandin on the left and right sides to slide down into the housing. I haven't put it on a column to see if it lines up, I'm positive it won't, but it looks good!

Re: 4speed auto shift indicator for stock auto column

I wonder how hard it would be to make one out of plexiglass and then put the symbols on the back side.

Please keep us posted on this. I have been wondering if something like this was out there for overdrive transmissions...

Re: 4speed auto shift indicator for stock auto column

Does the new chrome bracket fit well. I got one and it would not even sit on the column straight. I ended up having to polish out the old one. I put a new lens in it and it wiggled around a little so I had to use a little liquid gasket to keep it from rattling around.
