Should have done this a long time ago...
Installed a manual choke kit today ($9.99) on my K20....works perfect and I look forward to no more adjusting that electric choke...I'm sure the bi-metalic thermo used to rock back in the day....but not working well the past few years going from MI summers to winters...it was a cold job with the temp around 15 degrees today..brrrr

I did the manual choke conversion on my 86, I love it! It confuses the girlfriend and thieves would probably have a hard time starting it, but for me its perfect. Especially with the cold weather here.

Hey I like your thought about preventing theft....not that anyone would want to rob my rusty 85.....love the simplicity of the manual choke in the morning though and the price was right lol
