Re: New truck

Nice looking truck. Glad to see Tim got it sold. I liked it lowered and lifted. Those wheels have been all across the country and I am glad they finally made it to a truck.

Yeah tim was great to deal with hats of to him.

Yeah I did really like it lower but did not like it riding on the bump stops. I know I could have took them out. But I need this truck to be both a truck and a semi show truck so did 2 inch drop all a round.
Thanks Jay

Re: New truck

It's a super cool truck. I thought about it but with no a/c and me being in Texas..... Well you get the idea. I thinka 5 speed trans from a 90's truck would be a perfect addition to that truck.

Yeah 5 speed would be nice but kinda like 3 on the column. And its not going to be driven everyday so for now its fine. You talking about like a 700R4 ?

Since its a manual I was thinking a 5speed manual with the long but comfortable stick shift. That would offer a low first gear and an overdrive. Best of both worlds and a different option than you usually find in our trucks. I am talking about the 5. Speeds found in half tons and not a granny 4 speed style trans.
