Re: signage on doors
Not to be a smart azz,but have you tried a search using "how to paint door art"? There's a lot of threads on it already. If you can I have a friend on here that goes by doubles69 he does pinstriping and paints door art.
Some of the threads have a step by step tuturial on doing it. Good luck on your art I think it's neat on the right truck |

Re: signage on doors
I sprayed red primer, lettered with flat black. Sprayed over it all with thin coat of grey primer then sanded in select places sparingly. I also used some blue under the grey in some areas to highlight raised spots that needed more weathering.

Re: signage on doors
Try model railroad forums. They are good at making stuff look like it was there 100 years ago.
