Recovering my seats
I want to recover my seats and have found the material to do it. How much material wil it take t do the job? I have been told 7 yards anyone know?

Cant answer your question, since i only did my front seats. But, if you are using SMS, they should know.
The non expanded matrl. seems to match the grain better of the original seat, and make sure that you get the right matrl. for the seat back and bottom, as you can see the embossing is differant Also, on the top of the seat back, there are four places that the wire frame will rub through. I had mine ground down some, and extra padding put in that area. The seats are interchangable, right to left, so you can eliminate some of the wear on the drivers seat. Plus, these utilities are more comfortable... Good luck on your build, and post up lots of pics....

Took my Blazer over to the upholstery guy today and he said to get 3 yards of the patern material and 4 yards of the plain material. I am going to purchase it from SMS.
