64 c10 floor under seat springs (please help identify)
Can anyone help with the use of the springs under the driver side bench seat -see picture-I pulled the seat and there were 2 springs mounted to clips on the floor-one spring is about 5" long and the other about 15" this one kind of looks like a rod in the picture but it is a spring with a ring on the end the other has a ring as well- and I do not see or understand what they are for-they appear to be original-the seat I removed fronm the truck was not original but I am having an original seat redone to install after paint is finished-any info helps
