12 bolt disk conversion w/ 5x4.75 bolt pattern
Long time reader, first time poster. I am having trouble finding info on converting the 12 bolt truck rear in my 57 3100. The truck is set up with a TCI custom IFS with 2 inch drop spindles and a TCI 4 link rear. The front end bolt pattern is 5x4.75 and would like to match it to the rear end. I can't seem to find any info on this conversion. What is everyone else doing? Keeping the 5x5?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Re: 12 bolt disk conversion w/ 5x4.75 bolt pattern
Here's what I did.... Just did it actually: 12 bolt from '73 truck
Bought this kit:http://www.getdiscbrakes.com/trd4705 drilled axle flanges to 5x4.75, drilled rotors to 5x4.75 for 7/16" studs. The caliper brackets from this kit... only 2 holes line up unfortunately, so it is mediocre quality. |
