78-80 has an optional inside hood release. It is a complete different setup.

Your best bet is to get the correct piece for your hood to match your existing radiator support. Is your truck set up with the inside hood release?

@ steppin
This is a JY item. I do not believe any of the RePop vendors reproduce complete latch assembly. I have converted my 75 from external latch release to internal cab cable release almost 10 years ago. I found a complete setup at a local JY and simply swapped parts. You best bet would to place a request in wanted section. //RF

I wouldn’t think it would be that hard to have a metal smith mock up a your missing bolt latch. There are lots of eye bolts that could be heated and flattened out. Even a piece of round stock flattened and threaded
