Difference between a 47-54 and 55-59 1/2 ton frame?
Just wondering the differences would be between a 47-54 and 55-59 1/2 ton frame. Since the 51 has a cobbled frame and I know where I can get a frame from a 57, I guess is it doable?

Entirely different frames. 47-53 are A frames that taper front to back being narrow in the front over the axle to being wide over the rear axle. 55.2-59 are straight front to back ladder type frames. Nothing in the front of those trucks will swap.
