New stereo for a 1984 Scottsdale
Hello, I want to put a new stereo in 1984 Chevy Scottsdale because the stock one crapped out on me 6 months ago. Anybody have advice or can tell me how to do it? Deeply appreciated!

Re: New stereo for a 1984 Scottsdale
What do you want the stereo to be able to do? I- Pod, Thumb drive, integral EQ, etc...
Look at Pioneer DVD players. I just put one in my 84 GMC and it works really well. I already had a set of amps, speakers, and subwoofers in the cab. I have 8" speakers in the bottom of the doors, 6" speakers at the center of the doors, and dual 8" sub tubes behind the seat. This is all amped up through Rockford Fosgate amps.

My sister wrecked her car and I tore the stereo out of it cuz it was still good and it does everything you listed except cassette. It even has a Bluetooth capability.
