Re: 91 suburban cluster
I just did the same thing on my 77 that I did a 5.3 swap into. I repinned it of to make it match and work. I added the signal wire from the pcm to make the speedo work and supplied the ground for the facory check engine light to work. I used the temp sender from a 98 ls camaro to run the gauge and supply the pcm its needed signal. My truck had the mechanical oil pressure gauge so I had run a new wire to the sender make it work. I used the oil pressure sender adapter from autometer and a sender for an 81 chevy truck. It took some work to figure out the details and a few hours of wiring but worth it in the end because other than the aldl you have no idea from the inside truck whats under the hood. Hope that helps
