New Custom dash pics
Over the past week I have been fabricating a custom dash for my 82 c30 diesel swap. The truck was using the stock dash panel previously. I never liked the looks of the stock gauges and hated the giant fuel gauge in place of a proper tach.
Heres what it looked like before The first thing I did was cut out the old bezel Then I fabricated a new panel out of sheet metal that will screw into the old bezel. Nuts are held in place behind the bezel with epoxy to make it easy to remove and service the gauges. Gauge wiring And the final result, a new panel of matching vdo vision gauges and finally a working electronic speedo. Hope you enjoyed the pics. Last edited by 82chevdiesel; 03-21-2013 at 04:35 PM. |

Re: New Custom dash pics
I hate the giant fuel gauge. Where could I get a small one that could go where the clock is supposed to be?
