Headlight advice

I already have the relays installed but am looking for some new headlights for my 66 that use the H4 type bulbs.

All advice and pictures are welcome.

I'm pretty sure this is the best thread we have on the topic:

Re: Headlight advice

Cibie, Hella, Bosch, or Marchal will be the brands you want to look for. Marchal's are out of production so you'll have to source good used, Cibie's are next in terms of quality and light pattern and they're available new from Daniel Stern Lighting. Hella's are great lights- excellent low beams but the high beams are aimed slightly too high. Bosch makes a high quality E-Code housing that have a good pattern, and they are the most affordable. For the price and availability, Cibie's are the best.

For bulbs, use clear bulbs only- tinted bulbs decrease the light output. HID bulbs do not belong in H4 or any other halogen housings, they need projector housings to propery control the beam pattern and glare.
