is it worth it

My inner fenders are in good shape except they have had a number of holes drilled in them over the years. O found a pair of old ones at the wrecking yard that are in just as good of shape but have no holes. Would it be worth while to pull those of the truck at the yard or just fill the holes in the fenders I already have? (the holes are all a 1/4 inch or less)

I would say fill the ones you have as long as you fill comfortable doing so.

X2

As long as you can weld and grind I would just do that. Never know what you will find once you pull the ones from the junk yard. Could end up pulling them and then go back to your and filling, IMHO.

Re: is it worth it

I can't weld or do body work. It would be something that I would have get done when I get the rest of the body work done. The new inner fenders I could install my self.

You may have answered your own question..

Even if a body shop fills them, they will be welded and maybe a little body filler in needed to finish it. Your labor to swap them out is probably cheaper than the bodyman's price to fill them.
