replacement spring perch for dana 60
I bought a Chevy front dana 60 for my Blazer. The driver side spring perch is twisted and the holes blown out. I need to replace it. Anybody know of a replacement? The height of it is crucial as it needs to match the passenger side that is cast in the center section.

I would think you could take a weld on perch, do some measuring, get the height as close to what you need, tack it, check it again if you really want to, and weld it on.

I talked to Stephen. He said they would not be able to make me one, but could sell me one of there standard ones for me to modify myself.

To me it seems perches are essentially square tubing... although i could be wrong but here's an idea buy a piece of square tubing that is however wide you want the perch to be lets say 3in wide also you would have to get it at 1/4in thick. Now you have basically a full perch that hasn't been cut out so if the square tube was bought at 5in tall, 3in wide and 1/4in thick you could just make your own however tall then just notch it out for the axle tube. If all that makes any sense

The best way to get hold of diy4x is to call the shop. Ask for kurt. Id have a hard time believing he wouldnt make one for you.
