just finished drop kit on my Tahoe
I just picked up a 2010 Tahoe and decided to give it a better look. I picked up some TBSS replica wheels and a 2/3 inch drop kit. At first I did 4 inched in the rear but it was too low in the rear. I put the 1 inch spacers in the rear and I think it sits better now. Off to get an alignment tomorrow and its done.

Re: just finished drop kit on my Tahoe
Thank you ulakovic22. It is a Belltech 2/3-4 with Belltech rear shocks. I got the parts from Tony at TBSSOWNERS.COM. He can answer all your questions about lowering a full size.

Re: just finished drop kit on my Tahoe
Yeah I know Tony, I have TBSS replicas on my Suburban. I've been debating going with spindles or doing control arms in front and Pedders in the back. Heard good things about the ride with the Pedders springs. I have autoride too so I can't go too low in the back. It would be nice to get a Kelderman GMT900 kit but I can't afford it.

Re: just finished drop kit on my Tahoe
Thanks for your imput guys. Im not 100% happy with the ride yet. I have been to several places so far for an alignment but no place can do it with the 22's on it. I switched back to the stock wheels tonight and dropping it off in the morning for the alignment. I hope it rides better when its finished. The Belltech springs and shocks in the rear do ride rough.

Re: just finished drop kit on my Tahoe
Have you cut off the metal around the bump stop bracket? What is the issue with an alignment? I have the same wheels, stock height, no issues.

Re: just finished drop kit on my Tahoe
I did cut the bump stops off for the free travel mode. My tires cover the lip of the rims so they cant get the alignment heads on the rims. I put the stock rims on and got it aligned today. It does ride better now that everything is correct.

Looks good, looks like a police Tahoe, with the black rims.
