Small Freeze Plugs leak, Will Stop Leak work?
Hey all,
So, I've noticed I have a coolant leak. I traced it and it seems to be coming from the freeze plugs on the left and right sides of my engine, directly above/behind the engine mounts. I can barely reach it with my fingers and there's no way I can get them out without removing the engine(which I myself cannot do). I'm wondering, is it worth trying some Bars Stop Leak? I know it's not a permanent fix and I plan to replace all 8 freeze plugs but I don't really have the funds to do that currently. The car is an 88' GMC Suburban 350. Advice, ideas, experiences?

Re: Small Freeze Plugs leak, Will Stop Leak work?
It will probably work for a temp fix. I've used it in a big rig, it got me home fine. I have a friend who uses it in his S10 to stop a leak at a freeze plug, last time I asked him about it he said he has to add some more about once a year.
