08 Chevy 6.0 2500 question
A friend of mine has the above listed truck. He is looking for a computer chip or programmer of some sort. One that offers for performance and can change to tow and economy.... Do y'all have any suggestions. Called BULLYDOG and they didnt recommend one for a gas engine but had one for about 1500 bucks. Thats way to much to be cost effective.... Any other suggestions ....

The BullyDog tuner for that truck retails at $470. It's $340 on Amazon. I don't know where the Hell you got $1500.

Re: 08 Chevy 6.0 2500 question
Does he not have internet? Do you not have internet? Why is he calling Bullydog in the first place instead of just looking up how much their tuner costs? Why are you asking this forum how much that tuner costs and telling us what your buddy said it did, instead of just looking it up yourself? I'm not trying to be rude but you're making you and your buddy out to be pretty clueless and I don't get it.

Re: 08 Chevy 6.0 2500 question
Either way, the Bully Dog GT Tuner and DiabloSport inTune are both decent tuners.

Re: 08 Chevy 6.0 2500 question
Forget bullydog and all other handheld tuners. Get a real tune from a reputable tuner that uses efi live or hp tuners. I can hook you up with a guy from Alvin that will tune your buddies truck for less than the price of the handheld tuner and it will perform better. PM me if you'd like my help
