Lsx swap into 98 sierra
Hey yall I have a 98 sierra with a 305 and 4l60e that was just rebuilt. What I need to know is can I use the tranny that's in my truck for my ls swap? And how much of a pain is it to do the wiring in the swap. The motor I have in the truck now is locked up so I figure its the perfect time for the swap . Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

yes you can use it, the 4.8/5.3's came with them. I am not sure if the plug on thetrans would be different though, you might want to PM Clinebarger and ask him.

That's an easy swap man. plenty of info online for it. The trans will work but I believe the neutral safety switch or whatever that sensor is called on the trans is different.
