I made this quick slide show of some of my build on youtube feel free to check it out but my idea is to start making how to videos or slideshows for our trucks anything from simple fixes like converting parking lights to running lights all the way to cross member and disc break swaps just make a whole youtube channel for our trucks but I would need your guys help sending me pictures and including instructions? also i can make youtube slideshows for anyone else who wants one of thier build?

is anyone else intersted or think this is a good idea?

Don't think we need a video for this. *Solution from newbe351's reply#5 today:

At the light switch:
(1)On 60-63, jumper/connect terminal 1 to terminal
5--see b&w pic.

(2)On 64-66, jumper/connect the 2 (brown & purple)wires as shown on colored pic.

Okay we do not need a video for everything guys but you know what i mean if there is some thing someone on the forum is looking for and cant find its easy to throw up a video or make a slideshow of pictures like i said its just an idea to make things easier for people looking to restore c10's and c20's

I think videos and slide shows have a place, but a page by page (step by step) set of instructions is what works best for me. I'd like to see videos and slide shows of builds for the purpose of gathering ideas and sharing enthusiasm for this hobby.

With that said, the completed INDEX of topics related to these 60-66 trucks is often overlooked and underused. The info needed is there but people find it easier to have someone hand them the answer. I have been guilty of this too.

Take a look at this wonderful index - INDEX for 60-66 TRUCKS Go to the 2nd thru 4th posts for the links to specific sections. Absolutely great!

There is a wealth of info there already.

Having said all that - I'd LOVE to have a slide show of my truck build. But I need to wait until I actually have it done so I have a finished truck for the final pictures. So my slide show will have to wait.
