Re: MSRA Back to the Fifties
I spent two solid days there and I never saw a lot of those trucks.
Specifically looked for Wood1's and never found it!! |

Re: MSRA Back to the Fifties
We had a blast. Pretty much worn the soles off my shoes and I know I still missed a lot of stuff.

Re: MSRA Back to the Fifties
I went as well. Sadly my truck is still having issues with the charging system and the brakes so I didn't take it. I looked at a lot of cars but I also spent a lot of time at the vendor booths. After checking out products I think I see a Fatman Mustang 2 IFS in my future!
I also got to have one of the best experiences of my life. I say one of the best because if I said THE best my wife would kill me. For the last 17 years (since I was 13) I have been obsessed with the 1959-60 corvettes and always dreamed of having one. Through out my army days and college days I could never come close to affording a project one but now that Grad school is over my wife is on board with getting one just as soon as I pay off the student loans. Yeah that's about 3 years from now but dreams don't care about how long it takes. Anyway, I was talking to an owner and told him all about it and how at 6'1 and 240 pounds I wasn't sure I could fit. He just said "climb in". I barely got in but I fit and I wore a big grin for a few days. I love shows like this, you really meet some cool and nice people. I hope to get to meet some of you guys next year. Maybe a forum group to park together and drink beer? Any takers? Oh and the guy who owned that yellow car hauler had it for sale for $80,000. Yikes....
