Re: Post pics of how you mounted your TACH
Found the tins and the tach at the junk yard. Added them to my other gauges, bought a new housing from Brothers and brand new bulbs.

Kinda looks like it was mounted into the center stock location, this would require cutting the lens and metal faceplate, maybe even the backing plate too? Humm.... Ok I fess up, that's what i did, it looks pretty clean and it works fine, but 15 years later i kinda wish i hadn't done it.

Re: Post pics of how you mounted your TACH
This works ok for me. Just so you don't think I butchered my dash, the holes were already there thanks to the previous owner. Just had to enlarge one a bit. The cup tach is mounted in is fully adjustable, but too expensive.

Re: Post pics of how you mounted your TACH
Looks awesome! Where did you pick up the bezel from? And do the gauges come separately?

Re: Post pics of how you mounted your TACH
the gauges are all autometer and the bezel is from Covan. It was put togehter by my best friend and it has a harness plug that connects to the main harness meaning that if it needs to be taken off just unplug it and it comes out as a whole..

Timely thread. I just picked up a couple of old tachs to choose from. Keep the pics coming!

Re: Post pics of how you mounted your TACH
Had this one kicking around. Put it in the dash by cutting up the "numbers plate. Not for everybody. But that's the way I did it.
