Radio patch panel

Anyone out there ever install a radio patch panel in their truck? The P.o. hacked up the dash (cold chisel anyone) so i am thinking that maybe anything I did would be an improvement. Anyways i'm just looking to get advice from anyone whose been there before.

Re: Radio patch panel

There are probably other creative ways, but these are the most popular

1. They sell patch panels so you can to weld up the area to restore to correct size.
2. Cut the hole right so newer radio will fit
3. Cover the hole with a radio delete panel
I used the radio delete plate for mine. look in the parts forum, they are posted there often. That's where I got mine
